Dennis Stark, Ph.D., is an Industrial-Organizational Psychologist with extensive experience as a consultant to organizations, and as a Career Counselor to individuals.
As an Industrial-Organizational Psychologist, he has conducted in-depth assessments for over 100 organizations on over 4,000 people in key decision-making roles. For example, Dr. Stark has assessed hundreds of candidates for positions in sales, marketing, accounting, finance, engineering, architecture, purchasing, customer service, human resources, and information technology. He has also assessed thousands of candidates for supervisory, mid-level management, and executive-level roles.
As a Career Counselor, through an in-depth assessment of their interests, values, personalities, and abilities, Dr. Stark has enabled nearly 800 people to:
- better understand themselves, and
- know what specific careers maximize their chances of happiness and success.
Dr. Stark received his B.A. in Psychology from the University of Cincinnati, and his M.S. and Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from the Illinois Institute of Technology. He has been licensed as a Psychologist in the state of Ohio since 1985.
In addition, Dr. Stark was a Lecturer at the University of Cincinnati, Business Department, College of Evening & Continuing Education, for seven years.
His pride and joy is his family: his wife (Peggy), their four wonderful children (Jess, Matt, Greg, and Hannah), and their 7 grandchildren!
